SELVA 3

SELVA 3 is a low-viscosity, fluoride-free concentrated fire extinguishing foam used to extinguish Class B (hydrocarbon fuel) and Class A fires.

SELVA 3 is composed of organic solvents, hydrocarbon-based surfactants, and other performance additives. It contains no halogenated organic compounds, and the foam concentrate or solution is easily biodegradable and environmentally friendly.

SELVA 3 creates foam to prevent oxygen from contacting the fuel or combustion zone, thereby effectively extinguishing the fire. The fire extinguishing performance of SELVA 3 is similar to fluoride-based concentrated foam in hydrocarbon fuel fires.

SELVA 3 can be used as a replacement for AFFF concentrated fire extinguishing foams.

SELVA 3 is suitable for use with fresh water to extinguish Class B fires (hydrocarbon fuels). It is not suitable for use with polar fuel fires.

SELVA 3 is also used for Class A fires due to its excellent wetting properties.

SELVA 3 can be used with low, medium, and high expansion foam spraying equipment (nozzles, sprayers, foam chambers, etc.). However, because it does not have the ability to form a water film, its application with mist nozzles will not be as effective as the AFFF concentrated foam.

APPROVALS AND LISTINGS	SELVA 3X is certified according these standards: – ISO 7203:1995 (TCVN 7278:2003)
MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION COMPATIBILITY	Recommended construction materials are carbon steel, alloy steel (SUS 304 and SUS 316) or copper alloys. In addition, SELVA 3X is also suitable for use with synthetic resins such as PE, PVC, PET,.. SELVA 3X is not suitable for use on equipment and accessories made from zinc or galvanized material which can cause corrosions.
SHELF LIFE	The shelf life of SELVA 3X is about 10-15 years if the storage is done according to the recommendations of VINAFOAM. Samples of SELVA 3X foam concentrate should be sent to the manufacturer or an accredited laboratory for annual quality testing.
STORAGE AND HANDLING	Storage temperature: from 0 ^oC to + 50 ^oC. If the product is frozen during storage and transportation, thawing will render the product completely usable. You should stir well after freeze thawing the product.
