| MATERIALS OF CONSTRUCTION COMPATIBILITY | OLAS 1 is compatible with standard black carbon steel and materials manufactured from alloy steel (SUS 304 and SUS 316) or copper alloys.
In addition, OLAS 1 is also suitable for use with synthetic resins such as PE, PVC, PET,… OLAS 1 is not suitable for use on equipment and accessories made from galvanized material which can cause corrosions. |

| COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER CONCENTRATES | OLAS 1 has been evaluated as compatible with other foam concentrates of the same type (AFFF firefighting foam concentrates) from different manufacturers at the corresponding mixing ratios.
After blending and aging for 10 days at ambient temperature, the mixed concentrates have demonstrated maintained firefighting performance and effectiveness. |

SHELF LIFE
|
The shelf life of OLAS 1 is 10 to 15 years, provided that storage and handling comply with the manufacturer’s instructions. Samples of OLAS 1 foam concentrate should be sent annually to the manufacturer or an accredited quality testing laboratory for periodic quality control analysis. |

STORAGE AND HANDLING |
Storage temperature: from -5 oC to + 50 oC.
OLAS 1 is ideally stored in its original shipping container or in tanks or other containers which have been designed for such foam storage. If the product is frozen during storage and transportation, thawing will render the product completely usable. You should stir well after freeze thawing the product. |

| Sewage Treatment Treatability

OLAS 1 has a low biological demand (BOD), so there is no need to supplement oxygen in the wastewater treatment system.

| Algae and moss | OLAS 1 does not contain Nitrates and Phosphates, thus does not maintain the growth of algae and moss in the water source.
