DESCRIPTION
LAGO V6F is an Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) Concentrate, formulated from a mixture of fluorine-based and hydrocarbon-based surface active agents, together with other solvents and performance additives.
LAGO V6F requires relatively low energy to form foam. And the foam solution is capable of forming an aqueous film on most hydrocarbon fuel surfaces. This membrane separates the fuel from oxygen and prevents evaporation of the fuel. In addition, the water in the foam solution also has a cooling effect.
LAGO V6F is suitable for use with saltwater, freshwater and brackish water at a mixing ratio of 6%.
APPLICATION
- Class B fires (hydrocarbon fuels). LAGO V6F is not suitable for use on polar fuel fires.
