A letter to brave hearts

To the brave hearts!
In life, unexpected events can strike, taking away everything we cherish most. Fires and explosions are among those most devastating tragedies, leaving scars not only on the skin but also deeply etched in the soul. Today, I write these words not only as someone who empathizes, but also as a reminder, a call to all of us about our responsibility towards fire prevention and control.
I cannot fully imagine what you have all experienced. The horror of the flames erupting, the explosions tearing through the air, the black smoke engulfing everything, and the extreme fear of lives being threatened. The loss of loved ones, friends, those who were once an indispensable part of your lives, is an irreplaceable pain. The loss of property, memories, and belongings that have been cherished for so many years is also a great void.
But most importantly, I understand that what you need most right now is not pity, but sharing, faith, and hope for a better future. You are not alone on this path. Beside you are your family, friends, loved ones, and the community, all ready to extend a helping hand. Be strong, be resilient, overcome this pain to continue living, loving, and contributing.
These fires and explosions are not just accidents, but also a wake-up call about complacency and negligence in fire prevention and control. We often think that fires and explosions are rare occurrences, or only happen elsewhere, not in our homes. This mistaken belief has led to heartbreaking consequences.
I would like to emphasize the importance of raising awareness and responsibility in fire prevention and control. Each of us needs to equip ourselves with basic knowledge of fire prevention and control, know how to use fire extinguishing equipment, and strictly adhere to fire safety regulations.
In particular, using quality fire extinguishers is extremely important. A good fire extinguisher, regularly maintained, will help us extinguish fires from the very beginning, minimizing damage to people and property. Don’t be tempted to buy cheap, low-quality fire extinguishers of unknown origin. Seek out reputable suppliers with quality certifications and ensure that the fire extinguishers are always in good working condition.
In addition, equipping automatic fire alarm systems and escape ladders are also effective solutions for early fire detection and timely response. This gives us more time to evacuate people and property, minimizing the risk of casualties.
I hope that, after these losses and tragedies, we will realize that fire prevention and control is not the responsibility of any one person, but the responsibility of all of us. Let’s work together to build a safe community where everyone is aware of and responsible for fire prevention and control.
Finally, I would like to send my best wishes to all the victims of the fires and explosions. I wish you a speedy recovery, good health, and the return to joy in your lives.
With all my sympathy and solidarity.
