OLAS 36

DESCRIPTION

OLAS 36 is a synthetic film-forming foaming agent, formulated from fluorinated and hydrocarbon-based surfactants, high-molecular-weight polymers and many other solvents.

OLAS 36 requires low energy to form a foam film on the fuel surface, which is capable of forming a water film on the surface of Hydrocarbon fuel or a polymer film on the surface of polar fuel. Thereby, it has the effects of separating the contact of the fuel with oxygen and preventing the evaporation of the fuel, as well as cooling effect.

OLAS 36 is suitable for use with saltwater, freshwater and brackish water at 3% (for hydrocarbon fuels) and 6% (polar fuels)

Class B fires (Hydrocarbon and polar fuel fires)

Class A fires

Can be used with low-expansion foaming equipment such as nozzles, nebulizer heads, foaming chambers, etc.
