Description:
AQUA 1 is a low-viscosity Fluoride-free concentrated foam product, used to extinguish Class B (Hydrocarbon-based fuels) and Class A fires.
AQUA 1 is composed of organic solvents, hydrocarbon-based surfactants and other performance additives. AQUA 1 does not contain any halogen-based organic compounds, foam concentrates or foam solutions are easily biodegradable and environmentally friendly.
AQUA 1 foams to prevent oxygen from contacting the fuel or the burning area, thereby effectively extinguishing the fire. The extinguishing performance of AQUA 1 products is similar to that of Fluorine-based foam concentrates in hydrocarbon fuel fires.
AQUA 1 can be used as an alternative to AFFF concentrates.
Application:
AQUA 1 is suitable for use with fresh water to extinguish Class B (hydrocarbon fuel) fires. Not suitable for use on polar fuel fires.
AQUA 1 is also used on Class A fires because of its excellent wetting properties.
AQUA 1 can be used with low, medium and high expansion foaming equipment (nozzles, nozzles, foam chambers,…).
Mixing ratio:
It is recommended:
– Class A fire: 1%
– Hydrocarbon fires:
+ Low expansion: 1%
+ Average expansion: 3%
+ High expansion: 3%
– Aviation (Jet A1 fuel): 3 %
